How we research driving experience prices and rules

Facts checked:

Every price and rule on this site should be traceable to a page you can open yourself. This page explains which sources we use, how we date what we publish, and what we leave out.

DrivingExperiences.com.au is a general information site operated by Dominet BV. We don't sell experiences or vouchers, take bookings or rank operators, and we don't receive payments from operators. Prices, age and licence rules, dates and voucher terms are set by each operator and change often, so check the operator's own page before you buy or book. Facts were checked on 30 October 2026. Read our general information notice.

The sources we use

We use primary sources only:

  1. Operators' own websites. Package lists, prices, FAQs, terms and conditions and booking pages published by the business that runs the experience. We use each operator's pages only for facts about that operator.
  2. The ACCC. The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission for gift card and voucher rules.
  3. Venue websites. Where a track runs its own experiences, such as Queensland Raceway, Norwell Motorplex or The Bend, the venue's site is also the operator's site.

We don't use gift voucher resellers, review sites, forums or other publishers' articles as sources, and we don't copy their wording.

How we date facts

Each page lists its sources with the date we read them. Every price is shown with that date, for example "as listed on the operator's site on 30 October 2026". Where an operator marks a price as a sale or a starting price, we say so.

We don't estimate, average or round prices. If an operator doesn't publish a figure, we don't publish one either.

How we choose operators

For each city, we cover operators that run driving experiences at a track in or near that city and publish their packages and rules on their own website. We read each operator's package pages, FAQ and terms. We don't cover resellers that sell vouchers for other businesses' experiences.

When sources disagree

Sometimes one operator's pages say different things, such as two different minimum heights. When that happens, we publish both figures, say where each one appears, and suggest asking the operator. We don't pick one.

What we leave out

If we can't check a fact on the operator's own site or an official page, it doesn't go on the page. That includes prices on pages we couldn't open, and rules that only appear on third party sites. We also don't publish phone numbers or email addresses. Operator pages carry their own current contact details, and linking to them avoids sending you to an out of date number.

Reviews and corrections

Every page shows a published, updated and reviewed date. When an operator changes its packages, prices or rules, we update the pages that rely on them and change the updated date. If a fact turns out to be wrong or out of date, we correct it at the next review.
